Safety and Training
At Sky high Window Services safety is our number one policy. There are many dangers associated with our line of work which is why we enforce all occupational health and safety (OHSA) and Canadian Standards Association regulations. Our staff have been (IHSA, formerly CSAO) trained to make the job as safe as possible.
We’re proud of our flawless safety record, which we achieve through strict adherence to the following:
• Written Operating Procedures.
• Health and Safety program
• Ministry of Labour regulations
• Safe Practices for Rope Access Work (SPRAT)
• Technicians are independently certified by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, or the Construction Safety Association of Ontario.
• Supervisors have valid First Aid Training
• Written safety meetings are conducted
• Site-specific Fall Protection Plans are implemented
• Before any job begins written rescue plans are generated
• All technicians are rescue trained
• Technicians never work alone
• All equipment is inspected and documented regularly
• Standards for personal protective equipment
• All tools are on lanyards
